All of the Minneapolis wrestlers wrestled hard at the state tournament this weekend. All 5 girls medaled and the girls team placed 8th out of 64 teams. 1 boy medaled with 3 others 1 win away from making the podium. The boys team placed 18th out of 66 teams. #LionPride

State Wrestling Update! Girls are all on the front side for quarter finals! Peters and Johns are headed to the quarters on the boys side! Everyone else will have to fight from the back side of the bracket!

MHS JAG-K students competed in the Regional 1 CDC, placing 4th overall. The PBL team consisting of Leah Young, Serenity Knoll, and Brooklynn Hickman took 2nd. Tanner Norris took 2nd in career prep. Logan Haley, Emma Eller, and Aiden Pieschl took 6th in Creative Decision Making.
Tomorrow is the opening round of 3A Sub-State Basketball. The Lions will travel to Neodesha for a 6pm tip and unfortunately no stream. Then on Friday the Lady Lions will travel to Haven High School for their first round game streamed @https://www.youtube.com/@wildcatnetwork8961/streams. Go Lions!!
