Junior High Volleyball and Football started their 2025 season tonight at Republic County. Volleyball fought hard tonight and came home with a win! The football team defeated the buffaloes 36-12 in hard fought game! #minneapolisrocks

The Minneapolis High School Lions Football team hit the road on Friday, August 29, traveling to Southeast Saline for an exciting Football Jamboree! The Lions Football Team scrimmaged alongside Abilene, Lindsborg, and Southeast Saline, giving fans a preview of what’s to come this fall. With first-year Head Coach Galanski at the helm, this season promises growth, grit, and great memories. A strong fan base from Minneapolis traveled to SES and appeared energized and ready to watch some football. Let’s go, Lions—bring on the fall under those Friday night lights! #LionPride

August 28: MJSHS Volleyball Jamboree: 4:00 p.m. in the new gym.
Tomorrow night we will host our HS Volleyball Jamboree in the new gym starting at 4pm. JH Football will have their open practice/scrimmage starting at 5pm followed by JH volleyball in the old gym @ 5:30pm. Cross Country will have their open practice/scrimmage at 5:30pm as well. All will have parent meetings at the conclusion of the night.
