Superintendent Interviews for USD 239 Begin Today.
Dr. Curtis Stevens will be interviewing for the position of superintendent with the Board of Education this evening, January 11th, 2024. Dr. Stevens is currently serving as the Director of Secondary Education in the Salina School District. He is in his fourth year in that position. Previously, Dr. Stephens served as principal for Salina South High School six for years. There will be a meet and greet from 3:40-4:30 today in the High School cafeteria.
Tomorrow morning at 8:00 we will release candidate number #2 on our social media.

HS Wrestling vs Riley County @ home has been cancelled for tomorrow night.
HS Basketball at Valley Hts for 1-9 has been rescheduled for Monday 2-5. Schedule will be released once we get closer.
Due to the forecast for Sunday, January 14th, the Ottawa County Republican Forum scheduled for 3:00 with speakers, State Board Member Cathi Hopkins, Superintendent, Chris Vignery, and Superintendent Pam Irwin (Twin Valley) has been canceled.
USD 239 will have a 2-hour late start tomorrow, January 10th.
Due to school cancelation, the Junior High wrestling parent meeting that was scheduled for tonight, has been postponed. Date is to be determined.
