During halftime of the Minneapolis vs. Halstead football game on October 6, the Halstead Cheerleaders surprised the Minneapolis Cheer Squad with a thoughtful welcome gift. This kind and classy gesture highlighted the spirit of sportsmanship and respect between the teams. It was truly heartwarming to see their squad take time to think of ours in such a meaningful way. We sincerely thank the Halstead Cheerleaders for their generosity and for showing such honor to our team. #Honorable

MGS 5th grade attended the Pawnee Indian Village Museum today. The visit aligns with our early explorers and indigenous tribes units in Social Studies. Students also played traditional games, like "Rock in Fist" and "Ring the Stick," and a Pawnee-themed scavenger hunt that Mrs. Logan arranged.
