Local Law Enforcement Visits Minneapolis Grade School




The kindergarten classes had visitors today. Ottawa County Deputy Vancovern and Minneapolis Police Officers spent some time with MGS Kindergarteners. They talked about being safe, using "911" and the jobs of Law Enforcement Officers. The kids looked at equipment and asked lots of questions. Thank you to the Law Enforcement and Deputy Vancovern for making it available to our kids! #minneapolisrocks



The MHS XC girls placed 2nd as a team today at regionals in Riley County and qualified as a team to compete at state next Saturday in Lawrence! #LionPride

JH Basketball practice will start this evening. JH Boys will be at MJSHS and the JH Girls will be at MGS this evening. Coaches will communicate practice schedules tonight for the rest of the week. A bus will take the JH girls over to the grade school but need picked up at MGS.

Jr. high football plays on the road tomorrow night against Southeast of Saline at 5:00. There will be a 5th quarter immediately following.
