More first grade fun on Kansas Day!
MGS 1st graders celebrated Kansas Day! Activities included: dressing like pioneers; creating a Kansas Day headband, symmetry block quilt, and collage of "Kansas Wheat is Good to Eat!" Weplayed with wooden toys and sang about our state symbols. We finished with sunflower cupcakes!
The Young Americans for Freedom (YAF) chapter hosted a movie night Sunday evening in Mr. Konrade's room. 'Sound of Freedom' was the movie choice. The group hopes to host more movie/discussion nights like this in the future!
