The Minneapolis Junior High School Volleyball Team had a memorable opportunity to attend the KU vs. WSU Division I volleyball match on September 15 at Charles Koch Arena in Wichita, Kansas. With front-row seats and a quick dinner from the concession stand, the girls were able to experience college volleyball up close.
Minneapolis Junior High School Coach Amanda Rensink stated, "The student-athletes were impressed by the Division I players' speed, athleticism, communication, and intensity."
The evening was more than just a volleyball game. It provided the girls with a firsthand look at a level of excellence they can aspire to reach.
