FFA

More than 100 community members and students gathered at the Minneapolis Junior Senior High School cafeteria as the FFA program kicked off the 2026-27 school year with a community dinner. Following the meal, attendees transitioned to the new gymnasium, where the FFA Sponsor Christina Wallace provided information about the upcoming year and highlighted opportunities for students and the community to support the program.

All high school FFA members worked together to review the organization’s upcoming Program of Activities (POA), outlining events, projects, and goals for the school year. The evening provided Minneapolis High School students with authentic learning experiences as they practiced planning, public speaking, leadership, and working cooperatively to organize and present information.

The annual community dinner served as both a celebration of the Minneapolis FFA program and an opportunity to strengthen connections between students, families, community members, and the school as the new school year begins. #LIONPRIDE!
