On Monday evening, the USD 239 Board of Education approved Mrs. Brenda Odgers as the new Principal of Minneapolis Junior-Senior High School for the 2026-2027 school year.
Mrs. Odgers brings a wealth of experience to her new role. With over 30 years in Kansas education, her vast experience includes serving as an English language arts instructor, a high school principal, and Special Education Cooperative Director for USD 407, as well as serving as an Assistant Special Education Director for USD 489 — West Central Kansas Special Education Cooperative in Hays, KS. Mrs. Odgers has fostered collaborative environments and led exceptional staff development and school improvement efforts across diverse school districts in Kansas.
We welcome Mrs. Odgers as she steps into her new leadership role at the start of the 2026-2027 school year and look forward to her efforts to uphold Minneapolis Junior-Senior High School’s tradition of excellence and collaboration.
