Super spellers from Minneapolis Grade School and Minneapolis Junior High represented USD #239 North Ottawa County at the county-wide spelling bee held in Bennington on January 28, 2026.
All participants really let their words roar and spelled with all their pride! Brother and sister, Ryan Thomas (8th Grade) and Adalyn Thomas (6th Grade), placed second and third, respectively. The Spelling Bee went a total of ten rounds this year.
