Just four short days after a long road trip, the Lady Lions are packing up yet again—traveling more than 200 miles and 3.5 hours one-way to the high plains of Western Kansas. Earlier this week, they came within striking distance of top-ranked Lakin High School and powered past Norton in an impressive victory that showcased their steady improvement and fierce spirit.
This group of athletes defines motivation through grit and perseverance. Whether starting the day with boundless energy or rolling home at 1:30 a.m. after a grueling match, the Lady Lions meet every challenge head-on. As they journey west beyond the 100th meridian again, they carry with them the pride of Minneapolis, KS, and a promise to give their last full measure of devotion to the sport. Safe travels!
