The Minneapolis Junior Senior High School Cross Country teams delivered impressive performances at the Ellsworth Invitational on October 7, 2025, with top finishes across high school and junior high divisions.
The High School Girls Varsity team placed 4th overall, led by Aubryn Just in 9th place (22:48.70) and Emmalina Stevens in 11th (22:59.92). Additional team contributions came from Bristol Copple (20th, 24:32.36), Adalynn Johnson (24th, 25:05.10), and May McKain (33rd, 26:46.02). In the JV girls race, Charlie Farmer claimed 2nd place with a time of 27:06.62.
The High School Boys were paced by Oliver White’s strong 2nd place finish (18:24.50), followed by Aiden Oppenheim (8th, 19:03.37) and Cael Marsh (14th, 19:32.98).
The Junior High Boys team also had a solid showing, led by Madex Swisher (7th, 13:36.24), John Heckart (10th, 14:09.56), and Colton Crosson (11th, 14:10.74). Rounding out the team were Easton Donovan (15th), Hunter Knudsen (18th), Chase Pieschl (19th), and Will McKain (38th).
