It was perfect football weather at a cool 70 degrees on Friday night in Minneapolis, Kansas. Despite the cool weather, our Lions heated the field with exceptional plays throughout the night, capturing their second win of the season, defeating the Norton Bluejays 28–7.
With the backing of a large local crowd and loud cheering classmates, the team seemed to be fueled from start to finish. This team is building a new foundation, a new culture grounded in motivation, not to settle. Now sitting at 2–2, the Lions are showing steady progress.
As they prepare for next week’s matchup against the Halstead Dragons, there’s a rush of momentum—and some real wind in their sails. With confidence growing, we can’t wait to see what this team brings to the field next Friday night.
