MJSHS held its annual Program of Activity (POA) Night on Monday, August 18, beginning with a formal FFA opening ceremony. The evening welcomed students, families, and community members to a potluck dinner and a parent information session highlighting key deadlines and program requirements for the school year. Mrs. Hauck stated, “POA Night is a great opportunity for students to find their voice through leadership and teamwork.”
Following the dinner, student-led presentations showcased various POA projects, from leadership development, community service, and agricultural advocacy. Each group explained their plans and goals, giving the audience, consisting of parents and staff, an insight into the MJSHS FFA Chapter’s upcoming activities and initiatives throughout the 2025-2026 school year.
Events like POA Night strengthen our community ties and enhance student leadership across North Ottawa County Public Schools. A special thank you goes out to all of our parent and community supporters who helped prepare food for this special event. We are excited for another great year in FFA at MJSHS that promotes Motivation, Honor, and Safety! #LionPride
