On July 28 and July 29, educators from USD 239 recently attended a two-day professional development conference in Salina, KS, featuring renowned clinical child psychologist Dr. Ross Greene.
Dr. Greene is best known for developing the evidence-based Collaborative & Proactive Solutions (CPS) model. Dr. Greene shared strategies for supporting students with behavioral challenges. He is the author of several acclaimed books, including The Explosive Child and Raising Human Beings, and is the founding director of the non-profit Lives in the Balance. The conference focused on proactive, compassionate approaches to student behavior, aligning with USD 239’s commitment to student-centered learning.
