Kindergarten Graduation 2025

On Tuesday evening, May 20, the kindergarten class at Minneapolis Grade School participated in a heartwarming graduation ceremony attended by over 200 proud family members, friends, and faculty. The event began with the young graduates marching into the gymnasium to the classic strains of Pomp and Circumstance, their excitement and smiles lighting up the room.

MGS Principal Anderson welcomed the crowd, admiring the students’ growth and thanking families for their continued support throughout the school year. The children then led the audience in the Pledge of Allegiance and led the crowd in the performance of The Star-Spangled Banner.

The ceremony featured four vocal performances by the students, exhibiting themes such as looking ahead to the future and expressing appreciation to teachers, parents, and school staff. Songs like “I’m On My Way” and “Thank You, Thank You” left numerous audience members a little teary-eyed yet still smiling.

The event not only celebrated academic progress but also the character and spirit of our youngest learners. As the evening concluded, it was clear that the Class of 2037 is well-prepared for the journey ahead, first grade and beyond.

A special thank you to all of the parents and staff for making this special event possible.
