Minneapolis High School is proud to present the Tony Award and Academy Award winning drama, The Miracle Worker, by William Gibson on Friday and Saturday, March 9th and 10th at 7:30 pm in the MJSHS auditorium. Admission will be $2.00 for students and $4.00 for adults.  The play is presented with special permission from Samuel French.

The nonfiction play is based on the biography of Anne Sullivan and the autobiography of Helen Keller.

Blind and deaf after suffering a terrible fever as a baby, young Helen Keller is unable to communicate, leaving her frustrated and occasionally violent. As a last chance before she is institutionalized, her parents contact a school for the blind, which sends half-blind Annie Sullivan  who gradually forms a bond with Helen and shows her ways of reaching others.
