Family Math Night
Using the Number Line

Thirteen families participated in Family Math Night on Tuesday, October 9, 2007. Sixteen students attended with a total of thirty participants. Those attending made number lines from 1 to 144. Skip Counting was used to determine multiples for the numbers 2 through 12 and marks were color coded on the number line to represent these multiples.
The next session of Family Math Night will be held on Tuesday, November 13, 2007, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. in the Minneapolis Grade School Cafeteria. Participants will explore the World of Marcy Cook Math.
