Traveling for the Holidays!

Minneapolis High School students were asked to answer a “Traveling for the Holidays” survey. When asked if they liked to travel, many replied “No.” Apparently singing show tunes the whole way (in a vehicle) isn’t everybody’s’ favorite Christmas pastime.
Out of all those who answered the survey, Garrett Daugherty is traveling the farthest, a total of 800 miles. Most families are traveling by car, not wanting to hassle with crazy airline prices and layovers, etc.
Students say holidays are about family and getting together for celebration. About half of families are staying home or having family members over to their homes. “I like all the sibling rivalry that comes with the holidays. Beating each other up and getting caught on camera makes a fun look back when you can laugh at it,” stated Lindsey Abell.
A good way to get kids to enjoy the holidays more are competitive games with “Guys vs. Girls” games getting the fun moving, making the holidays enjoyable for teens. Then, they look forward to next year’s holiday travel!
