The Minneapolis High School’s yearly magazine selling competition resulted in an ice cream party for the sophomores who won the competition.
For each three magazines students sold, they earned a class point. Everyone who sold a magazine got candy for participating.
Students are encouraged to sell magazines to make money which will help pay for prom and graduation, since 40% of the profits go back to the school. Sophomore, Centonous Buchwald says, “I sold six magazines and I am very glad that the sophomores won and that the ice cream party was delicious.”
