MJH Stuco Hosts Dance

The MJH Student Council hosted the first dance of the school year on November 21 in the MJSHS cafeteria. The theme for the evening was "Zombie Prom". Students were encouraged to come to the dance in costume. Many interesting "characters" showed up for the dance.
Rick Raynes was the D.J. for the evening, and was busy taking song requests, snowball dances, and hosting an exciting dance contest. Contestants for the contest were: Alex Yoxall, Jake Fleming, Kaden Berry, David Johns, and Hunter Helget. Participants wore a blind-fold mask and were asked to "give it all they had" when the music started. Unknown to the contestants, the D.J. had all contestants except Jake Fleming leave the dance floor shortly after the music started. Jake showed some of his incredible dance moves, but was a little surprised to later learn that he was dancing alone!!!
The evening proved to be a blast for all participants.
