Scott Wooten Award Winners Named

Thursday, March 13, was the annual St. Pat's Dance for Minneapolis Junior High. Prior to the dance, the Scott Wooten Citizenship Award winners were announced. Three males and three females were selected by the faculty from the 8th grade class, then voted upon by the student body. Winning the award was Jacy Crosson and Andrew Yoxall.
Following the awards ceremony, the dance started with the traditional mother-son/father-daughter dance. D.J. for the evening was Rick Raynes from Salina's 99.9 KSKG radio station. Students enjoyed a variety of music, as well as punch and cookies.
