McCall Places 3rd at District FFA Public Speaking Contest

Members of the Minneapolis FFA participated in the North Central District FFA Public Speaking Career Development Event held on January 16th at Abilene. Competing in the events were Alyson McCall and Analena Simmons. Alyson McCall placed 3rd in the senior division out of 14 contestants. Analena Simmons also competed in the senior division. Alyson’s speech was on horse slaughter, and Analena’s speech was on the family farm. Since Alyson placed in the top five in the senior division, she is eligible to compete in May at the State Public Speaking Contest.
