FFA Greenhand Team Places 5th
District Dairy Cattle Judging

The North Central District FFA dairy cattle career development event was held November 16th at Linn, Kansas. The Greenhand team of Dylan Crosson, Jake Eckert, Spencer Melhus, Cameron Walker, Dustin Thompson, Kyler Macy, Josh Mullen, Zac Rathbun, and Jacob Snider placed 5th out of 14 schools. Individually, Josh Mullen placed 5th out of 76 contestants. Analena Simmons, Johnathan Reid, Katie Nichols, Cameron Mullen, Steven Porter, Garrett Folger, and Aaron Christensen participated in the senior division for the Minneapolis FFA Chapter. The contestants judged six classes of dairy cattle, took a written test, and gave one set of reasons. The senior team placed 8th out of 17 teams.
