MJSHS Welcomes New Principal

Jay Macy began his professional career teaching Business Education at Sedan High School in Southeast Kansas in 1983, along with coaching football, girls basketball, and volleyball. In 1990, he became the Bennington High School Business Instructor, and continued to coach football, girls basketball, boys basketball, and track. He served as principal there from 1999-2007. On August 3, Mr. Macy moved to Minneapolis to serve as principal of MJSHS. "The move to Minneapolis is an exciting one for me and my kids. The students at MJSHS are great and the faculty and staff are outstanding. Kathy McHenry, Sandy Hendrix, and Val Beikmann have been extremely helpful during the beginning of the school year, and I am extremely excited to be back in LION COUNTRY!!!," stated Mr. Macy.
The MJSHS students and staff are excited to have the opportunity to work with Mr. Macy throughout the year!
