MHS has reinstated the E2 program, "Effort and Excellence."  The program is designed to offer incentives for students to maintain a good grade point average, participate in volunteer community service activities, and be in attendance at school on a regular basis.  Students will receive blue, red, or yellow cards depending on their level of "Excellence."  Each level offers a variety of incentives that can be viewed below.

Students may earn E2 Points for doing community service.  These points may be used in lieu of criterion on the card to move to a higher card color, or to remove a detention/office referral, absence, or tardy and earn a card.

1 hour= tardy

3 hours= excused absence/detention

6 hours= unexcused absence

Students who earn E2 Cards for 3 of 3 nine week periods will be eligible to participate in a field trip to Salina for lunch and a movie.

Any student who has earned an E2 Card may have it revoked at any time during the semester due to absences, detentions, or office referrals.
