Building Improvements

Minneapolis High School is located at 602
Woodland in Minneapolis, Kansas. The current building for grades
9-12 was opened in 1961 and was added to in 1975 (vocational
agriculture building) and 1991 (two computer labs and two
classrooms).
Construction was completed the summer of
2001 with the addition of four new rooms. Two are designed for
science, one for math, and the other for English. Expansion of the
library was also part of the project.
This construction project also included
remodeling efforts to turn the original chemistry room into two
separate rooms, one for business and the other for Spanish. This
allowed the creation of a teacher workroom, small conference room,
and a minor restructure of the office area.
